Farewell to Sam Steele
It is with a heavy heart that all of us here at Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses say farewell to our elder foundation stallion, Sam Steele PF. Sam Steele was an extraordinary sire who sired thousands of Top Sport Horses locally and internationally. Stamping his offspring with his outstanding qualities as: super athletes, with super movement, balance, correctness, talents and his truly wonderful temperament. Sam Steele was born in Canada, where he left a lasting impression with the judges during his Stallion Licensing. A first class stallion all the way, he went on to successfully campaign with both top international riders Erynn Ballard and Chris Pratt. Sam Steele's legacy lives on through his many offspring in our program and out in the equine world.
We say goodbye to our dear Sam. We are very grateful for all you have given to our program for over a decade, certainly your life size legacy will live on forever with us and in our hearts.

Ryan Pedigo & State Senator PF by Sam Steele PF, both pictured enjoying the recent issue of The Sidelines Magazine, were Pedigo Farms breeding program was recently featured.

We celebrate our first Cabalito foal of the season and she is exquisite! We welcome to the world 'Chamonix PF,' a bay Hanoverian filly. Sired by the great Hunter Stallion Cabalito who has shown to great accomplishments from Hunter Derby's to successfully competing in the upper levels of the jumper divisions. Chamonix PF's dam line highlights one of the most successful hunter sires, Popeye K, who needs no introduction. We feel very fortunate to co-own Cabalito with White Hedge Farms in Texas. Cabalito brings a sophisticated pedigree to our continued development of our private bloodline of performance horses, as we continue to breed many generations forward. We have very high hopes for Chamonix PF!
We have eagerly awaited this very special colts arrival, Capri PF a bay Oldenburg Colt who is sired by the late world class sire Corlando. Corlando has sired many top performance horses, broodmares and approved son's from Germany, the United States and Canada. Capri PF's dam line is quite spectacular as well, as she is a granddaughter of the Olympic Jumping Stallion - For Pleasure. We feel very fortunate to have acquired a private stock of frozen semen from the great Corlando which is used privately in our program. We have very high hopes for Capri PF !
Homebred Mares Shine at AHS Inspection
A huge congratulations to our five homebred mare's accomplishments, as they are now members of The American Hanoverian Society's Mare Book.
On this wonderful fall day at Pedigo Farms, we held our annual American Hanoverian Society inspection. This group of five outstanding mares, who were presented to the AHS judges, were all wonderful in showcasing their abundance of quality.
Two of our mares presented were sired by Wellesley PF - Wes Street Beauty PF and Wisteria PF, one is by Popeye K - UpTown Girl PF, one is by Sam Steele PF - Sheba de Princess PF and one is by Merlin (Magic) PF - MIss Maples PF. We could not be more proud and thrilled to welcome these five young beautiful mares to our outstanding broodmare band.

We are proudly offering a very special group of 2 year old fillies for sale, not only do they have movie star good looks, they have all the talents to match. In preparation for the release of our 2020 sales list all of our very well handled 2 year old fillies are body clipped, wear blankets in their stalls, additionally have experienced some very light, yet beneficial jump chute training. This outstanding group of ladies will shine bright in their great careers in the show ring.

Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians in conjunction with the American Hanoverian Society, held our annual Inspection recently, which was a great success! We presented 30 of our own RPF bred Hanoverians and hosted a group of very special horses and owners. We were very fortunate to have AHS President Edgar Schutte, Judges Anna Von Holten-Jungheit and Judy Hedreen (pictured here) attend the Inspection. We celebrated a successful day by enjoying a white table catered lunch under the canopy at RPF to complete this wonderful day.

Corlando is a 17h Dark Bay stallion, son of the legendary stallion Calypso II (Rinaldo / Landvogt) and is approved by the German Verband, Westfalian, Rheinlander, Hessen, Bavarian, Baden - Wurtemberg and ISR. At his 1988 Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf he had an overall score of 120.78, a Dressage score of 112.78 and a Jumping score of 132.18 that placed him in the top 5. Corlando's sire, Calypso II descends fro the legendary Angle-Norman, Cor de la Bryere. He is quoted as being "one of the few genuinely impressive stallions of German competition horse breeding" and one of the greatest Holstein foundation sires of all time.
We are elated to welcome two 2020 foals by Corlando to our foal crop and we eagerly await their arrival next year!

Wylar PF by Wellesley PF attends his first horse show to train and see the sites of horse show life. He wowed the crowd and jaws dropped. We could not be more proud of this star in the making . What a quality athlete .
