Our Sport Horses in Germany

The Establishment of the Holsteiner Horse
The Holsteiner horse is renowned for its outstanding genetics, jumping ability, athleticism, scope, rideability, versatility, and willingness to perform. Historically, shortly after the First World War, the Holsteiner emerged as a premier show jumper. Former Karossiers rose to the top of the German show jumping scene, notably highlighted by Egly, the winner of the renowned 1935 Hamburg Show Jumping Derby.
Further achievements include Nordland, under the direction of Marten von Barnekow, who was part of the Olympic gold medal-winning team in 1936 and later triumphed at the Hamburg Show Jumping Derby in 1938. Additionally, Tora, sired by Capenor, secured an Olympic gold medal in individual show jumping at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
Our German stables house quality Holsteiner sport horses in Germany, serving as an extension of our United States breeding and sales operations. We offer a selection of sport horses, ranging from young stock to experienced competitors actively campaigning in sport. A sales list is available upon inquiry.
