PF's Ulara is a Holsteiner mare with a historical world class pedigree, who is related to many successful horses in sport and world class influential breeding stock. Two of Ulara's famous siblings, Uricas and United Way, both had great success Internationally. Uricas, during the 2022 Longines FEI World Cup earned a 4th place, under top rider Harrie Smolders.  Sibling, United Way, is an outstanding, well-established sire and sport horse, who stands and is owned by the Holsteiner Verband (more about United Way below). The video here is of sire Uriko *

Ulara's world class KWPN sire Uriko, who completed very successfully during his 70- day performance test at Schlieckau with great results, with scores of 9.25 for his canter and 8.83 for his jumping ability.  His popularity and presence in Germany is most impressive, with his sport horse bloodlines being in high demand as his results have been known as "golden lineage." Historically, Uriko's foal crops are known for their very good type and have earned him the "breeding record 123 index points for type and conformation" early on in his breeding career. Notably, his first crop of foals produced seven licensed stallions including Unlimited, the 2016 Holsteiner Champion Stallion and Uno I, the 2017 Reserve Champion Stallion.  Three of Uriko's sons where licensed for breeding at the 2017 Holsteiner stallion grading. Son, Uricas, finished 3rd at the World 7 Year Old Jumper Championships in Lanaken and continued attracting attention at the International level under top rider Harrie Smolders. His daughter, Charisma HS, continued contributing to her sire's recognition as a top producer. The Uriko-Cassito mare owned by Hugo Simon became National Champion in the five-year-old jumper division under top rider Richard Vogel in 2019, her performances earned her scores up to 9.3 from the judges, then going on to successfully show at the International level. Son Uniquo is successfully competing at the International level under rider Jérôme Guery.

One of Uriko's most recognized sons, United Way, has most certainly established a great legacy of his own. His lineage combines some of the most successful mares and stallions who have distinguished themselves in breeding and in sport. United Way's career in sport is quite impressive under top rider Maximilian Grafe. This team captured many wins, but more recently has captured six S Level wins in Germany, then contined his success under rider Ebba Johansson in the S level jumpers.  The importance of mares of distinction has great impact on the breed, mares Deka, Tabelle in Holstein, Tanagra, Dirka in France, Qerly Chin, Opaline des Pins in Belgium. More recently, within the Holsteiner breed is Wodka, bred by Otto Boje Schoof, Hedwigenkoog and notably the second dam to United Way, a very impressive Lord daughter who inherited her sires great talents and qualities. This impressive lineage establishes United Way's importance and legacy which lives through many of the most popular sport horse bloodlines. United Way is owned and stands at Holsteiner Verband.

Ulara's damsire, Cassini I, literally made history during his first breeding season at Elmshorn when he produced the 2006 WEG Champion, Cumano, who competed under top rider Jos Lansink Cumano. This team continued their success by winning the 2004 Grand Prix of Calgary one of the richest jumping classes in the world, then in 2005 earning a third place in the Grand Prix of Aachen. Cassini I was very popular, with his stallion services requested all over the world, despite the Holsteiner Association putting a limit on his breeding availability, only allowing Cassini I to cover only mares registered in Holstein. As a five-year-old Cassini I, under rider Herbert Blocker, had great success with seven wins at the Bundeschampionate. This pair continued their success in 1995 earning a top placing in the Grand Prix of Münster, Kiel, Neumünster, and Hamburg when they earned their placement as members of the winning Danish Nations Cup Team in Helsinki and represented Denmark at the European Championships. During 1997 Cassini I began under top rider Franke Sloothaak with immediate success, this team capturing a fourth during their World Cup round at Olympia, then under rider San Patrignano when this pair went onto many successes at the Grand Prix level, Nations Cups and World Cup competitions, accumulating winnings of over €200,000. Cassini I was born on April 1, 1988, to dam Wisma, who went on to produce daughter Donata and licensed stallion Lovari (by Lasino I). Continuing Wisma's producing legacy is son Cassini II, born in 1992, who placed third in his performance test but following an injury was kept from further performance. Cassini II's breeding career became a very successful path where he produced a series of jumping horses in sport, including: Holger Wulschner’s Cassius, Thies Luther’s Cassilo and Steffen Lutter’s Capriolo. Furthermore, Cassini II’s licensed son, Camarque, was sold to Denmark where he was the show jumping Champion of the Danish stallion approvals. Also in Ulara's impressive portion of her dam's pedigree is the great sire Caletto II who established himself as one of the most important sons of the super sire Cor de la Bryere. From 1991 - 2000 Caletto II ranked top placements with the WBCSH and received top recognition for his offspring's many jumping efforts. Earning the Champion Title at his 1980 stallion licensing he was considered the perfect Holsteiner type and went on to have great success in sport under top rider Herbert Blocker.

Impressively, on the dam's side of Ulara's pedigree is the legendary English Thoroughbred stallion Lord, son of one of the most influential Thoroughbred sires, Ladykiller, who was a great success right from the start with the Holstein Verband. His first foal crop produced eight licensed sons; including the great Landgraf. Ladykiller's second foal crop featured the licensing winner and world renown sire Lord. Ladykiller's third foal crop produced the German show jumping derby winner 'Boy' under top rider Eddie Macken. Lords' famous dam's sire, Cottage Son, was well known as a great Thoroughbred "improver" in Holstein. One of Lord's notable sons Livius won the 1980 German show jumping derby under rider Peter Luther, earning a team medal at the 1981 European Championships and winning the World Championships in 1982 and the 1984 Olympic Games. Lord has sired over 60 licensed sons, and his progeny winning near a million dollars during their performances in sport.
