ABOUT Sire: Tobago Z

Tobago Z is an exceptional stallion, with direct relatives who are all top performers. His dam, Whoopie C, was a successful 1.60m show jumper under Yves Vanderhasselt, known for her exceptional scope, carefulness, and quality. His sister, HH Donatella, competed internationally under Quentin Judge and Paola Amilibia. Tobago Z quickly rose to the top of the sport, becoming the most successful horse of the 2018 Global Champions League (GCL). In 2019, he earned three podium finishes in GCL Grand Prix events. His dominance continued through the 2018 and 2019 World Cup seasons, winning the World Cup in Madrid and Bordeaux, finishing third in Amsterdam, and fourth in Leipzig. Thanks to his exceptional talent, Tobago Z achieved:

  • 4th place at the World Cup Finals

  • 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Aachen

  • 2nd place in the European Championships in Rotterdam as part of the German Olympic Team

"When genetics predict results and results confirm genetics, the circle is complete with Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z."

ABOUT Dam Sire: Million Dollar

In 2022, Sophie Hinners took over the reins of Million Dollar, and the pair had a successful season, earning victories and top placings in 3 Nations Cup events with the German Olympic Team:

  • 2nd place in Mannheim

  • 1st place in Bratislava

  • 1st place in Budapest

Unfortunately, a hernia ended his season early in July 2022. However, Million Dollar recovered well and shifted focus to breeding for the 2023 season. Million Dollar possesses three quality gaits, impressive jump scope, carefulness, and exceptional technique. His performance evaluations further highlight his talent:

  • 30-day test (Schlieckau, 2015): Rideability score: 8.25 | Jumping ability: 9.75

  • Holsteiner breeding approval (Elmshorn, 2016)

  • Sports test (Münster-Handorf):

    • Jumping ability & overall impression: 8.8

    • Rideability & manners: 8.5

    • Canter: 8.3

    • Final grade: 8.57

Between ages four and six, Million Dollar won multiple young horse jumping ability classes (A-M level) under Ebba Johansson. He later joined Jos Lansink’s training program and competed under Frank Schuttert (NED), achieving top international placings at 1.45m before moving to Sophie Hinners’ training stable in 2022. Million Dollar’s sire, Plot Blue, was a show jumping legend, competing at the highest level for many years:

  • 5 Senior Championships

  • 2 World Cup Finals

  • 23 GCT Grand Prix competitions

  • Earned over €900,000 in prize money on the Global Champions Tour

  • Won the Geneva World Cup Final

  • Team Gold for Germany at the 2010 Kentucky World Equestrian Games

  • 5th place individually at the 2012 London Olympic Games

Million Dollar’s dam, Gin Tonic de Muze, was exclusively used for breeding. His granddam, Daytone de Muze, competed successfully at 1.60m under Jody Bosteels, and his great-granddam, Wallon de Muze, also competed at 1.60m under Michael Hécart, as did her full sister Walnut de Muze, who competed under Harrie Smolders.

ABOUT Dam Grandsire: Caretino

Caretino was the last of the seven stallion sons of Caletto II to enter the Holsteiner Studbook. The bay stallion from stem line 826 impressed early, earning a jumping index of 145 points at his stallion performance test. Caretino excelled in young horse competitions:

  • Winner of numerous young horse jumper classes

  • Competed at the Bundeschampionate at ages five and six under Thomas Schöning

  • Competed at Grand Prix and Nations Cup level under Bo Kristoffersen, accumulating 40 top S-level placings

By 2007, Caretino had produced 650 competition horses registered with the German FN, and at the time of his passing, his offspring had earned over €3 million in prize money.
