Elite Mare Candidate and Champion Hanoverian mare at her inspection by Wellesley PF – World Cup IV, out of the outstanding foundation mare Mercedes PF - Merlin PF – Matcho x – Esuador xx.
EMC Winona PF is an exceptional Hanoverian mare who demands attention with her beauty and classic looks. Earning the AHS high scoring mare title at her inspection, she is an elegant tall mare, very well put together with a classical beautiful head. Winona excelled very quickly in her training before she became a member of our broodmare band at Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians. Her wonderful qualities that she herself showcases are her willingness to work, outstanding big stride, powerful balanced movement, careful scopey correct jumping style and great athleticism. As an outstanding producer Winona PF passes these outstanding quality to her offspring consistently.
We are very excited to announce that her spectacular son State Senator PF is starting his show career in 2019 and we believe he is bound for stardom. Winona's two year old daughter, Social Butterfly PF, has become a member of our broodmare band ready to foal in 2020. Another young son, yearling Scottish Heir PF, also shows tremendous potential. Winona PF is expecting a foal with Black Tie PF in 2019.

Keaton completed his 14-day ability assessment with exceptional results, receiving a 10.0 on character, 9.75 on temperament, 9.5 on willingness to perform, and 9.0 on jumping aptitude, resulting in a total jumping mark of 8.68. Kannan was internationally successful under Francois Mathy Jr. and Michel Hécart. He has produced over 200 international show jumping horses, including the Olympic Champion Nino des Buissonets and Hickstead Derby winner Adventure de Kannan. He has ranked in the top WBFSH rankings for years, placing 5th in jumping and 10th in eventing in 2016, making him the only stallion to appear in the rankings for more than one discipline. Kannan’s eventing offspring include Billy Beware, who has won six international classes and finished sixth at Badminton CCI4* in 2014, and Ogustin du Terroir, who was second in the Vairano Nations Cup and fourth in the under-25 CCI3* at Bramham. His damline includes legendary stallions such as Ramiro, Landgraf I, Der Löwe xx, and Royal Wash. His dam, Nigella, is a half-sister to the licensed stallions Lancer I-III.
ABOUT Full Sibling: Kantato
Kantato is a full sibling to PF's Nubia. According to the Holsteiner Verband, "Kantato, this premium 2023 Holsteiner stallion, is attractive and pleasing in many ways. With striking and beautiful markings and three very good basic gaits, we have high expectations for his development under saddle. This modern Keaton son bears a strong resemblance to his sire. For breeding considerations, Kantato has many good qualities under saddle. He convinces with three good basic gaits, excellent rideability, and careful jumping ability with good judgment. A stallion who always wants to please—a stallion who is fun to ride. Kantato definitely provides breeders with an interesting alternative."
ABOUT KEATON'S DAM SIRE: Contendro I
Contendro I, Keaton’s dam sire, was one of the most frequently used stallions in Germany. His successful show jumping offspring include Codex One, Conthendrix, and Holiday by Solitour. Contendro I also established an excellent reputation in eventing, topping the 2018 WBFSH eventing sire rankings.
ABOUT SIRE: Casall
Casall is considered one of the most elegant Landgraf sons, descending from one of the most successful Holsteiner mare families. His prolific Grand Prix career under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson saw him debut at some of the most challenging courses, including the 2012 London Olympics, Herning European Championships, and the World Equestrian Games. His exceptional offspring secured him the top spot on the WBFSH sire rankings for six years. At 18 years old, Casall retired from competition in perfect condition. His farewell was marked by a victory at a Global Champions Tour event in front of a home crowd, giving Holsteiner breeders and fans an unforgettable moment. The farewell ceremony, held immediately after his win, was an emotional tribute to his legendary career. Casall’s sire, Caretino, is among the Holsteiner studbook’s top sires, tracing back to Caletto II and Cor de la Bryère. Caretino won numerous young horse jumper classes, demonstrating outstanding jumping technique. At ages five and six, he participated in the Bundeschampionate under Thomas Schöning before moving to Bo Kristoffersen, with whom he competed at the Grand Prix and Nations Cup level, earning 40 top placings at the S level. Casall’s dam, Kira, traces back to Stem 890, one of the most successful Holsteiner performance mare families. At the 2005 stallion grading in Neumünster, her son Clarence by Carano was named Reserve Champion. Casall’s second dam, Maltia by Raimond, produced Taura (by Lord), who in turn produced the licensed stallions Ringo Starr and Cesano I and II. Other successful international sport horses from this line include Crocodile Dandy, ridden by Alison Firestone, and Conally, ridden by Markus Renzel.
ABOUT DAM GRANDSIRE: Cassiano
Cassiano, a Holsteiner stallion imported directly from the Verband, has played a significant role in developing the modern New Zealand Sport Horse. Known for his athletic type, he consistently stamps his progeny with elite qualities, including exceptional jumping technique, scope, and extravagant movement. Cassiano’s sire, Cassini I, was a world-class show jumper and left a lasting legacy through his sons and daughters. His dam, by Calypso II, was a valued Holstein Studbook mare, producing several top-performing offspring. Cassiano's mother, Zivia, produced six foals, four of whom went on to compete successfully at the Grand Prix level. Despite a limited competition career before being imported to New Zealand, Cassiano achieved notable success in Germany.
