PF'S LA DOUCE

EXTENDED PROFILE

PF'S Tatiana is a modern build mare by Tobago Z, with world-class genetics, athleticism, jumping scope, elegance, and classic looks. This elevates her to what the show jumping world recognizes as a “World-Class Sport Horse.”

PF's La Douce (Registered Name: La Douce) – 2018 Holsteiner Mare
(Genetics) Million Dollar / Plot Blue x Connor x Virtual Village
Registration Number: DE421000022018

PF's La Douce (Registered Name: La Douce) was selected, purchased, and imported by owner Ryan R. Pedigo of Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses in 2022 from the Holsteiner Verband's Elite Riding Horse Auction. La Douce was sold by, and born in the stables of, Holstein Royalty founder Georg Ahsbahs’s son and granddaughter, Deike Ahsbahs.

La Douce’s modern type, world-class genetics, athleticism, jumping scope, elegance, and classic looks truly elevate her to what the jumping sport horse world recognizes as a “World Class Sport Horse” through top genetics and outstanding athletic ability.

In 2022, La Douce began her training and highly successful campaign in the U.S. As La Douce's career took off, we are grateful to the top professionals who contributed to her early success:

  • Lane Clarke, who provided excellent training and foundation, and successfully campaigned La Douce to the 1.00-meter Jumpers.

  • Then in late 2023, Nick Haness (Rider) and Carleton Brooks (of Balmoral Farms Inc.) continued her training and competition schedule, leading PF's La Douce to countless wins and achievements.

In December 2023, Carleton Brooks (of Balmoral Farms Inc.) purchased La Douce himself as an investment horse. At the start of the 2024 Desert International Horse Park Winter Circuit, La Douce debuted under her new name, Blue Bird. Blue Bird achieved great success throughout the 2024 DIHP Winter Circuit with many highlights.

Blue Bird has since continued to campaign successfully across the summer show circuit on the East Coast, the Indoor Circuits, and back through the Desert International Horse Park’s Winter Circuit. We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate Blue Bird’s continued accomplishments and bright future.

DAM SIRE: MILLION DOLLAR

DAM GRANDSIRE: CARETINO

Tatiana's Sire, Tobago Z, needs no introduction, as he embodies the essence of excellence: "A stallion can only pass on what he has himself... and Tobago Z has it all." His impeccable pedigree boasts some of the top horses in the sport.

Tatiana's Dam Sire, Million Dollar, also requires no introduction. In 2015, the Holsteiner Verband gained much fame and recognition with the acquisition of this exceptional jumping stallion from Belgium, hailing from the dam line of Quirly Chin.

Tatiana's Dam Grandsire, Caretino, leaves a remarkable impression. Passing away at the age of 28, he stands as the final son of Caletto II to enter the Holstein Studbook. The bay stallion impressed early, earning a jumping index of 145 points at his stallion performance test.
