La Douce's sire, Million Dollar, has received much fame in Germany for his outstanding pedigree, results, talent and his remarkable producing record. Million Dollar stands at the Holsteiner Verband and as a four-year-old he won two young horse jumping classes at A and was placed at L level under Maximilian Gräfe. As a five-year-old, Million Dollar continued his great success with several wins in the young horse jumping classes in the L and M level jumpers under top rider Ebba Johansson. Impressively, he also captured six wins in the M jumpers in 2018. Under rider Frank Schuttert Million Dollar achieved many more victories up to the 1.45 meter jumper class. Then, under rider Sophie Hinners, their very successful partnership earned them a win at the Kronenberg Grand Prix. The pair went on to their placement on the German team at the Nations Cup in Mannheim, capturing the great victory of a second place for Germany. Million Dollar passed his Munster-Handorf test with outstanding results and comments by the judges as "Million Dollar has a very settled disposition, great impulsion stored ready for take and tremendous jumping scope" Scored given 8.8 ability and overall impression, 8.5 for rideability and manner, 8.3 on canter, and a final impressive score of 8.57.

The portion of La Douce's dam side of her pedigree is very impressive as well. La Douce's dam sire, Connor, has a great legacy of his own, recognized as one of the top producing sport horse stallions in Germany. Son of the great Casall, this high-profile International performance sire is known for his top achievements during his sport horse career. Casall's famous offspring who also have International presence, includes Austria, ridden by Kent Farrington, Caillou, ridden by Karl Cook, Ariso, ridden by Jordan Coyle, Caracas, ridden by Jos Verloy, Casallvano, ridden by Daniel Deusser and Wunschkind, ridden by Eric van der Vleuten; to name a few. Connor has played a very large part in the evolution of the sport horse jumping world as we know it today, much like his sire has. As a six and seven year-old Connor captured multiple wins in the young horse jumping classes up to the S Level. Connor was leased to France in 2016, where under rider Nicolas Delmotte this successful team earned many wins and placings in the 1.45-meter jumper division at venues such as Fontainebleau, Maubeuge and Bonheiden. Connor’s dam is a full sister to the world renown stallion Corrado I, who had outstanding success in performance at the International level under top rider's Bo Kristoffersen and Franke Sloothaak over the time span of 1991 to 1997 and further Grand Prix wins at show venues such as: Leuwaarden, Dortmund, Aarhus, Neumünster and Kiel.
