PF's Tatiana, a new addition to our broodmare band was recently imported by Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses and is sired by Tobago Z by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve. Tobago Z needs no introduction; "A stallion can only pass on what he has himself .... and Tobago Z has it alL." His impeccable pedigree outlines some of the top horses in sport. Tobago Z's dam Whoopie C who was known for her great scope and athleticism as she had great career success in the international show jumping ring, up to 1.60m classes under rider Yves Vanderhasselt. Tobago Z was recognized as the most successful horse of the 2018 GCL, as he won the World Cup of Madrid, the Grand Prix's of Lyon and Oslo, and stood numerous times on the podium of a 5* Grand Prix. "Notably when genetics predict results and results confirm genetics, the full circle is complete with Tobago Z. "

PF's Tatiana's dams sire, Million Dollar, also needs no introduction. Much fame and recognition came in 2015 when the Holsteiner Verband acquired Million Dollar and the information reported from Belgium about this tremendous jumping stallion from the dam line of Quirly Chin surfaced. Million Dollar's sire, Plot Blue - Vigo d'Arsouilles - Cento, is from the successful dam line bred by Joris von Brabander. Million Dollar achieved popularity quickly and his acquisition by Holsteiner Verband had great influence. "An inspection of the stallion at his breeder's stable answered many questions ~ this stallion displayed the colorful markings of his sire Plot Blue and a very youthful appearance that was everything but heavy. His movement was highly interesting, with an outstanding regular and very good ground covering walk - trot - and a very efficient canter. Powerful and with excellent carriage behind. The free jumping proved more than convincing, very much to the purpose and very controlled, but at the same time very careful with good bascule. His bloodline is characterized by an accumulation of sport performance of rare quality and concentration."

Million Dollar's second dam, Daytona de Muze, was a successful 1.60m horse under Belgian rider Jody Bosteels. She has since been sold to the US. Third dam, Wallon de Muze, had great success under rider Michel Hecart in the 1.60m ring, and the same as her full sister Walnut de Muze under rider Harrie Smolders. His fourth dam, Quirly Chin by Chin Chin, was successfully shown by Eric Lamaze.  Million Dollar was purchased by the  Holsteiner Verband in the early spring of 2015 and licensed at Zangersheide in April 2015. He was 30 days tested at Schlieckau in December of 2015 and was graded 8.25 for rideability - 9.75 for jumping ability and was approved for Holsteiner breeding programme at the Elmshorn licensing in January 2016.

PF's Tatiana's dam grandsire, the late Caretino, is also very impressive.  Caretino passed away at age 28, the last of seven sons of Caletto II to enter the Holstein Studbook. This Caletto II - Metellus son connects to 826 offspring and revealed his qualities at the stallion performance test, where he earned a jumping index of 145 points. Caretino won numerous young jumper classes which showcased his outstanding jumping technique, participating in the Bundeschampionate under rider Thomas Schoning. Then Bo Kristoffersen took him over a year later to compete successfully at the Grand Prix and Nations Cup levels, accumulating 40 placings at S level. Caretino then returned to Holstein to be used for breeding, which was much applauded by mare owners. By 2007 Caretino had produced 650 offspring that were registered for competition with the German FN. At the time of his death Caretino's offspring had earned more than 3 million euros.
