Pedigo of Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses during the 2023 Holsteiner Verband's Spring Elite Presentation and Riding Sport Horse Auction. Marlene garnered significant global interest during her free-jumping and under-tack presentation, which was live-streamed during the auction.

ABOUT Sire: Don VHP Z
Don VHP Z is a large-framed stallion renowned for his exceptional carefulness, scope, and correct jumping style. As a young horse, he competed successfully in British Showjumping (BS), delivering numerous double-clear rounds in Newcomers and Foxhunter classes. He was a Finalist at the Addington Young Horse Championship in 2009 and was selected to represent Great Britain at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, Belgium. In 2010, Don VHP Z won the Walwyn Championship at Royal Windsor and went on to qualify for the Newcomers and Foxhunter second-round competitions. That same year, he secured victory in the 6-Year-Old Championship Finals at HOYS (Horse of the Year Show). After an impressive third-place finish at Leipzig under Harrie Smolders, he qualified for the 2016 World Cup Finals and earned a place on the Dutch squad for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. His half-brother, Carlos VHP, also found success at the 1.60m level in Wellington, Florida, with Olympic rider McLain Ward.
Don VHP Z is sired by Diamant de Semilly, one of the world’s most influential show jumping sires. Born in 1991 out of a Le Tot de Semilly mare, Diamant de Semilly was an exceptional competitor and breeding stallion. He won Team Gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, placed 9th individually, and secured Team Silver at the 2003 European Championships in Donaueschingen. Additionally, he won multiple Grand Prix competitions, including those in Saint-Lô and Caen.
ABOUT Dam’s Sire: Calido I
Calido I is one of the most important sires in Germany, carrying the esteemed bloodlines of Cor de la Bryère, Cottage Son xx, Ramzes AA, and Anblick xx. His granddam Kollet (by Roman) produced six dressage horses and six show jumpers that successfully competed at the advanced levels. The dam’s sire, Coriander, was an elite multi-talented stallion, winning multiple dressage competitions at the advanced level. ABOUT Dam’s Grandsire: Acobat II
Acobat II was a highly regarded stallion known for his top-quality movement, elasticity, and jumping scope. He won many young horse jumping competitions, competed at the prestigious Bundeschampionat, and later earned multiple top placings in S-level show jumping, including third place at the Schleswig-Holstein Regional Championships in 1999 with Samantha Lam. His offspring inherit his athleticism, elasticity, and scope, producing numerous S-level show jumpers. One of his most recognized progeny is Aquino, ridden by Frank Sloothaak.
Acobat II’s sire, Athlet Z, stood at stud in Klein Offenseth and was recognized early on as a proven sire of top show jumpers. His dam, Tschita, produced Acobat I, Acobat II, and Acobat III, all highly successful stallions. Among these, Acobat II emerged as the most influential. The grand-dam, Oruna, is a full sister to Ribecka, a mare that produced three exceptional approved stallions: Acord I, Acord II, and Acord III, in partnership with Ahorn Z.
