Don VHP Z Stallion

Don VHP Z

Marlene's sire, Don VHP Z, is a stallion with incredible charisma, intelligence and presence. With his fantastic results, he is a stallion in great demand with breeders.

PF's Marlene, is a 2019, Bay, Holsteiner mare and a new addition to our breeding program. PF’s Marlene epitomizes exceptional talents, remarkable balance, correctness and exquisite jumping style and scope. With her elegant, refined demeanour and classic looks, Marlene left an unforgettable impression from the moment we first laid eyes on her during the prestigious Holsteiner Verband spring auction in Germany. Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses secured Marlene with the winning bid, marking the beginning of her journey with us. Before her import to California, USA, we arranged for Marlene to be bred to one of Europe's finest young stallions, United Way (Uriko x Concerto II x Lord), with their special foal due in the spring of 2024.

Marlene will continue to contribute to our sport horse breeding operation through embryo transfer. Simultaneously, we are excited to announce that Marlene will commence her sport horse performance campaign on the country's AA-Show Circuit by early fall 2024. Marlene's exceptional abilities are owed to her world-class lineage, boasting Don VHP Z as her sire, Calido I as her dam's sire, and Acobat II as her dam's grandsire. who was imported by Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses and is sired by DON VHP Z, a 2004, chestnut stallion by Diamant de Semilly. PF's Marlene's world class sire Don VHP Z needs no introduction.  The well known son of Diamant de Semilly is from the same Dam as HH Carlos, who was ridden by McLain Ward. Don VHP Z was a finalist in the Addington Young Horse Championships in 2009, then went on to be selected to represent Great Britain in Belgium at the World Championships for Young Horses. In the following year, he took the win at the Walwyn Championships at Royal Windsor and he went on to qualify at Newcomers and Foxhunter in the second round. During his six year old year he was victorious and won the Championship at HOYS, ridden by Harrie Smolders since 2015, this horse and rider combination achieved many top performances at the highest levels.

Some of DON VHP Z's most notable wins include: Vice European Championship, where they jumped double clear to win the final of the Longines Nations Cup in Barcelona, jumped double clear in the CSIO Hickstead, and victory at the GCT GP Rome. The duo gained much attention in 2019 when they earned a 2nd place at the LGCT CP CS15* GP in Miami, 3rd at the LGCT* GP in Mexico City and a win in the 1m 55 Grand Prix at CS13* Knokke. His sire, Athlet Z, stood at stud with Klein Offenseth for many years, and dam Tschita produced two greys, Acobat I and Acobat III, from the same breeding combination. Acobat II can easily be considered the most important of the three Acobat brothers. Grand dam Oruna, a full sister to mare Ribecka, are both descendants of the superior Calypso I. Ribecka combines with Ahorn Z, the three exceptional approved stallions Acord I, II, and III. The dam line 7126 is also represented through the stallion Athletico, Aktionar and Burggraaf.
